Presidential Towers Donates Apartment to the University of Illinois Medical
Center
Apartment Provides Patients and Families a Place to Stay Free of Cost

CHICAGO, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Presidential Towers, a Waterton Residential
community, announces its donation of a fully furnished two bedroom apartment
to the University of Illinois Medical Center (UIMC), allowing patients and
their families to stay for free while undergoing care at the medical center.

"Based on our location and availability, the managing partners of Presidential
Towers felt that this was a great way to give back to our community," states
Phyllis Kempton, Community Manager, Presidential Towers. Presidential Towers
is located in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood, less than a mile from the UIMC
campus.

Many patients go to the UIMC for specialty services, such as those provided by
the Illinois Stroke Institute. Patients often travel long distances - many
travel from out of the country - to receive care at UIMC. The medical center
works with patients and their doctors to schedule appointments, procedures or
therapies over a one to three day period, allowing patients to stay at
Presidential Towers at no cost during that time.

"The University of Illinois Medical Center is profoundly grateful for the
generous gift provided by Waterton Residential and Presidential Towers," said
John J. DeNardo, CEO, UIC Healthcare System. "The apartment provides a 'home
away from home' atmosphere and enables our patients to focus on their medical
care and recovery."

In addition to its partnership with the University of Illinois Medical Center,
Presidential Towers sponsored and hosted the 2009 American Lung Association's
Climb Chicago stair climb in March, and will host the 2010 and 2011 events as
well. It also partners with the city of Chicago on the Building a Healthier
Chicago initiative.
