Cage & Ricky Dillard in a Free Concert at Detroit's Chene Park

DETROIT, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- They are two of the biggest names
in gospel music, and they're expected to draw record-breaking crowds to
Detroit's Chene Park. Gospel artists Byron Cage and Ricky Dillard & New
Generation headline "Grace At The Park '09" in what promises to be the city's
biggest outdoor gospel event of the decade in the Motor City. It happens
Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Admission is FREE. 

Greater Grace Temple became widely known for the "Grace at the Park" series
from 1998-2001, shattering attendance records each year at the riverfront
amphitheater. This year's event highlights the "GGT Reunion Weekend" where
former church members from around the nation return for a special "homecoming"
celebration. 

Byron Cage is known as "The Prince of Praise" and is one of America's best
loved gospel artists whose works have garnered 5 Stellar Awards including
"Male Vocalist of the Year," as well as a Grammy nomination. Cage is a former
Youth Choir director at Greater Grace Temple. 

Ricky Dillard and his New Generation Choir are known the world over for their
unique sound and spirited choreography. Dillard won two Stellar Awards this
year including the 2009 "Choir of the Year."
