Vann's Carries Samsung's Groundbreaking DualView Digital Cameras

MISSOULA, Mont., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Make room in your camera stable for
the newest camera technology. Vann's now carries Samsung's brand new TL220 and
TL225 digital cameras with dual LCD screens. These 12.2 megapixel digital
cameras feature a large LCD screen in the traditional viewing location and a
second, smaller LCD at the front of the camera, giving the photographers the
ability to put themselves in the picture.

A first in digital camera technology, the 1.5" LCD on the front of the Samsung
DualView cameras makes taking self-portraits easy. After the TL220 or TL225 is
powered on, simply tap the front LCD screen to start self-portrait mode.
Samsung's Tap and Take technology turns on a smile detection feature. The
camera "reads" your face and automatically takes a photo when it senses your
smile. This is exceptionally handy for snapping profile photos for blogs,
Facebook or Twitter accounts, or other social networking sites.

Beyond showing you the photographer's view, however, the front LCD screen on
the DualView cameras also offers a Children Mode (animated clips or funny
pictures) to give the kiddos something fun to focus on during portrait
sessions, a self-timer countdown so you know when the flash is coming, and
shutter and function info so you know what your camera is set to accomplish.

The rear LCD screen on the TL220 and TL 225 digital cameras takes a page from
the touch screen revolution. Navigation is as simple as the touch of a finger.
Scroll through all the menus and easily access the photo library thanks to the
Haptic vibration response technology. Quickly access and use the camera's key
features with either a simple finger tap or a hand gesture, using the
revolutionary new Gesture UI. Tap and Take for the self-portrait feature is an
example of how the technology works.

Samsung's DualView cameras also feature more traditional digital camera
technology, like a 4.6x Schneider-Kreuznach optical zoom, optical and digital
image stabilization, face, smile, and blink detection, and 720p HD video
recording. The TL220 features a 3" touchscreen, while the TL225 has a 3.5"
rear touchscreen. Both cameras are also ultra-compact with a total weight of
around 6 ounces and dimensions small enough to easily fit in a purse or
pocket.

Samsung is also empowering photographers to use their camera as a social
networking tool. The CL65 provides unprecedented connectivity as it
incorporates geo-tagging, Bluetooth 2.0, DLNA, and Wi-Fi capabilities, giving
social networkers the ability to share images while on the move.
