PHILADELPHIA--(Business Wire)--
"Eighty percent of success is showing up," says comedian and film maker Woody
Allen. However, in order to show up, you`ve got to know where to go. Finding out
about life science and business events in the Greater Philadelphia Region just
got easier. The University City Science Center has integrated a regional events
calendar into its web site at www.sciencecenter.org. Created by Basecamp
Business, the calendar aggregates life science and business events from around
the region, connecting entrepreneurs and professionals with the ideas, people,
and resources they need to grow their businesses and build their careers.

"It takes a strong regional network of resources and support to build and launch
a new company. However, navigating that network can be a challenge for even the
most seasoned entrepreneurs," says Science Center President & CEO Stephen S.
Tang, Ph.D. "The new Basecamp Business Calendar will help by providing an
inventory of events in the region that entrepreneurs can easily search to find
the events that will help them build their businesses."

Events from more than 200 organizations in the tri-state region are included in
the calendar. By incorporating the Basecamp Business Calendar in its Web site,
the Science Center can now display events from the larger life sciences
community in the region. And by posting its own events to the calendar, the
Science Center is ensuring that they will be seen by a larger audience. Calendar
users can use sorting functions to customize the types of events they see.

The Science Center joins Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Delaware Economic
Development Office, MAC Alliance and Select Greater Philadelphia as a founding
sponsor of the calendar. The Basecamp Business Calendar can easily be added to
any Web site, replacing a traditional events calendar with one that is connected
to an entire network of event calendars.
