Opens New 10,000 Square-Foot Retail Store in Piscataway, NJ and Debuts 'Uncork
Life' Blog by Brian Freedman

METUCHEN, N.J., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- WineChateau.com (www.winechateau.com),
one of the fastest growing online wine and spirits merchants, opened a new
retail location in Piscataway, New Jersey today. The 10,000 square-foot store,
located in the Centennial Plaza Shopping Mall, expands the company's footprint
in its home state, where it grew from a small mom-and-pop store. The new
location consolidates two smaller retail sites with a warehouse, which stocks
more than 18,000 SKUs of domestic and imported wines, spirits and beers.

According to CEO and President Saurabh Abrol, "We have been interested in
expanding our offline retail base and Piscataway seemed like the ideal market.
It's a diverse community that is home to many large corporations, private
residents and a Rutgers University campus. It offers us multiple avenues for
growth and opens up a great local labor pool."

Blog Expands Wine Education Offering

To enhance its customer service capabilities and provide more information and
insight for using and enjoying its product lines, WineChateau.com created a
blog on its web site entitled "Uncork Life" written by resident blogger Brian
Freedman.

"Our customers have much more than a passing interest in wine; they have a
hunger to know more," Mr. Abrol noted. "They want to learn about wine history,
winemaking processes, pairings with food and how wine connects with occasions.
They are actively seeking opinions about taste and quality. To satisfy this
need, we've turned to Brian Freedman, Director of Wine Education at The Wine
School of Philadelphia and Contributing Editor for Philadelphia Style Magazine
because we believe he has the taste, the imagination and the depth of
knowledge to engage and delight our customers."

Brian Freedman, a trained sommelier, is a well-known and widely published food
and wine writer, educator and consultant based in Philadelphia. He has been a
restaurant critic for The Evening Bulletin and host of Classic Wines TV, a
popular online wine show.

Founded in 2004, www.WineChateau.com conducts business in 46 states in the
United States and 31 countries overseas, serving more than 500,000 customers
annually. The site attracts more than 5 million page views and stocks 18,000
SKUs.
