Directorate Change

The Board of the Media Corporation plc, the AIM quoted leading advertising
network and internet publishing group, is pleased to announce the appointment of
John Ashley Palmer as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. 

Mr Palmer, aged 49, has a demonstrable track record with over 25 years`
experience in the international marketing, advertising and general management
arena. He previously held senior product marketing and management positions at
Unilever and Mattel Toys Australia. He later went on to become the Chief
Executive of Bates Malaysia, one of the largest communication groups in Asia. 

Mr Palmer brings with him broad industry experience, having been responsible for
a wide range of product categories including airlines, luxury goods, automobiles
& financial services. More recently, Mr Palmer founded and was CEO of
LetsBuyIt.com, an online retail group that was established in ten countries and
listed on the German Stock Exchange. 

Mr Palmer has previously held the following directorships and partnerships
within the last five years: Gourmet on Tour Limited and Regenerator Limited. 

There are no further disclosures in relation to Mr Palmer to be made in
accordance with schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules. 

At the same time as Mr Palmer`s appointment, Michael Hawkes will be stepping
down from the Board with immediate effect.

plc and wishes him well with his future endeavours.
