Leader in SaaS-Based Global Trade Management Solutions Deploys Savvis Hosting
Services

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Furthering its position as a
leading provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) IT infrastructure services,
Savvis, Inc. (Nasdaq: SVVS) today announced an agreement to provide hosting
services to TradeBeam, a leader in SaaS-based global trade management
solutions (GTM).

TradeBeam's solutions facilitate billions of dollars of global trade. As a
rapidly-growing company that supports industry-leading customers, TradeBeam
required a high performance data center to host its enterprise-class SaaS
solutions.

TradeBeam's IT infrastructure is now colocated in one of Savvis'
state-of-the-art data centers that meet the Statement of Auditing Standards
No. 70 (SAS 70) Type II requirements, confirming that proper procedures are in
place to safeguard customers' financial data. SAS 70 reports also meet the
requirements of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) for effective
internal controls by public companies.

"Faced with considerable growth, we realized we needed to expand our IT
infrastructure capacity," said Nasser Mirzai, vice president of IT at
TradeBeam. "Savvis is an industry leader offering a global footprint of high
performance SAS 70 certified data centers integrated with one of the world's
largest Tier 1 networks. Extending our SaaS service delivery model into
Savvis' data center will allow TradeBeam to focus on our core business rather
than IT infrastructure."

"TradeBeam is at the forefront of global trade management solutions delivered
in a SaaS business model," said Brad Hokamp, Savvis Vice President, Hosting
Business Unit. "As TradeBeam continues to grow, we look forward to building a
long-term relationship as a trusted IT services provider."

Savvis currently operates 28 data centers globally encompassing more than 1.4
million square feet of raised floor space designed to support enterprise IT
operations. In addition, Savvis was recently positioned as a leader in the
Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Hosting and Cloud Infrastructure (on Demand),
2009, and can be accessed at www.savvis.net/magicquadrantleader.
