(Bohemia, NY) - On Monday, August 17, two formal documents demanding workplace
justice will be delivered to the owners of Baumann/Acme Bus by employees of
the company and Teamster Union members. One is a letter from the Long Island
Federation of Labor, which represents over 250,000 union members on Long
Island. The letter urges the company to stop its anti-union practices, which
deliberately interfere with the workers' right to form a union.

The workers also will deliver an Appeal for Justice, versions of which have
been signed by many federal, state and local elected officials and community
leaders. This document urges the company to stop its harassment of its
employees and to respect their rights. Both documents will be delivered to all
nine Baumann/Acme locations on Long Island.
