** Canada's Magma Energy Corp MXY.TO said it would acquire an additional 32 percent stake in Iceland's privately owned energy company HS Orka, after it was selected as the preferred bidder through an auction process. [ID:nBNG453460]

** Align Technology Inc (ALGN.O) and Danaher Corp's (DHR.N) Ormco unit settled a patent litigation, whereby Align will pay $13 million in cash and 7.6 million shares, and jointly develop and market an orthodontic product, the companies said.

** German utility RWE (RWEG.DE) has submitted a bid for a 67 percent stake in Polish peer Enea ENAE.WA, German paper Financial Times Deutschland reported, citing unidentified people in the financial industry. [ID:nLH362235]

** Belgian visual systems company Barco (BAR.BR) said it was cracking further into Russia's aerospace market in a link-up with Monitor Soft to jointly provide cockpit mission systems in Russia. No financial terms for the new partnership were provided in the company's statement. [ID:nLH551893]

** British engineer Hampson Industries Plc (HAMP.L) said it sold its aerospace machining unit to Darwin Private Equity LLP for 23.7 million pounds ($39 million) in cash. [ID:nBNG415932]

** Danish biotech firm NeuroSearch (NEUR.CO) is teaming up with Janssen Pharmaceutica, a Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.N) company, to develop drugs for central nervous system disorders, NeuroSearch said. The alliance will bring NeuroSearch a guaranteed 32 million euros ($45.7 million) in the first three years, including an upfront equity investment of 10 million euros and a put option of 5 million, Neurosearch said in a statement.
