OneSteel says seeing some encouraging signs

MELBOURNE Aug 18 (Reuters) - OneSteel Ltd (OST.AX), Australia's second-largest steelmaker, said on Tuesday it was starting to see some encouraging signs from its customers.
Chief Executive Geoff Plummer told reporters the last few months have seen steady improvement in demand from a low base, but there were still risks to the recovery in the Australian and global economies. (Reporting by Victoria Thieberger)
