Customer Loyalty Ratings Based on Consumer Travel Experience with Company SPOKANE, Wash., Aug. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- People to People Ambassador Programs, the leader in global educational travel experiences, today announced that the company has received an overall Net Promoter rating of 60.8 percent. Net Promoter is the internationally recognized tool that measures the dimensions of loyalty by asking, "How likely are you to recommend this company (product, service or brand)?" Developed by Satmetrix, Bain & Company, and Fred Reichheld, the Net Promoter concept was first popularized through Reichheld's book The Ultimate Question, and has since been embraced by leading companies worldwide as the standard for measuring and improving customer loyalty. The Net Promoter Score, or NPS(R), is a straightforward metric that holds companies and employees accountable for how they treat customers. According to research firm Satmetrix, companies with the most efficient growth engines operate at NPS efficiency ratings of 50 - 80 percent with an average company rating of approximately five -10 percent. If a company's "growth engine" were running at perfect efficiency, 100 percent of its customers would be converted into promoters instead of detractors. "Customer satisfaction and our commitment to safe educational travel are keys to our success," said Peg Thomas, president of People to People Ambassador Programs. "We work diligently each year to turn our travelers, both students and adults, along with parents, teachers, and other constituencies into passionate travelers and global citizens that often return on trips with us via our alumni programs. We are happy to now add the Net Promoter rating to our measurement criteria in order to identify areas for improvement and better results." People to People Ambassador Programs sends thousands of students and teachers from all 50 states on unique educational experiences to 46 countries around the world. The experiences are centered on travel and learning with unique access to both people and cultural activities. Students and parents are asked to complete a survey after each travel experience is completed. The Net Promoter rating will be measured annually as well as other satisfaction metrics.
