New Issue-Watson Pharmaceuticals sells $850 mln in 2 parts

 Aug 18 (Reuters) - Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc (WPI.N) on
Tuesday sold $850 million of notes in two parts, said IFR, a
Thomson Reuters service.
 Bank of America and Barclays were the joint active
bookrunning managers for the sale and Wells Fargo was the sole
passive bookrunning manager for the sale.
