BANGALORE Aug 19 (Reuters) - The following corporate finance-related stories were reported by media on Wednesday:

* Stockbridge Real Estate Funds is considering making a takeover bid for the management of a $2.6 billion real-estate fund run by Deutsche Bank AG's (DBKGn.DE) (DB.N) real-estate-investment unit, the Wall Street Journal said. [ID:nBNG451788]

* Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (8316.T) is looking to take majority control of its investment banking joint venture with Daiwa Securities Group (8601.T), the Yomiuri newspaper said on Wednesday. [ID:nT189654]

* Lenovo (0992.HK), the world's fourth-biggest PC brand, said it will buy products worth $2.7 billion from Taiwan companies, the Commercial Times reported on Wednesday, in the latest sign of warming Taiwan ties with China. [ID:nTP82819]
