India's Reliance Comms sells $253 mln of CP-sources

MUMBAI Aug 24 (Reuters) - Reliance Communications (RLCM.BO), India's No. 2 mobile operator, has raised 12.25 billion rupees ($253 million) via short-term debt, two sources with knowledge of the deal said on Monday. The company sold one-month commercial paper at a yield of 3.40 percent, they added. The paper matures on Sept. 29, 2009.
