CALGARY, Alberta Aug 24 (Reuters) - Suncor Energy Inc (SU.TO) and Husky Energy Inc (HSE.TO) said on Monday that their oil projects off the coast of Newfoundland were undamaged by the passage of Hurricane Bill over the region.

Spokesmen for the companies said Suncor's 98,700 barrel per day Terra Nova project and the 76,600 bpd White Rose project operated by Husky were unscathed by the storm, which did no damage to the region's oil production or refineries. (Reporting by Scott Haggett; editing by Rob Wilson)
