BEIJING, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Maxthon 2.5.6 is released today with
two major features - a brand new Video Popup feature and the redesigned Float
Button. The free Maxthon 2.5.6 is available for download at
http://dl.maxthon.cn/mx2/mx_2.5.6.350.exe .
After the lengthy development and refinement of the anti-freeze framework
introduced in Maxthon 2.5, we are glad to introduce some new convenient
features in this version.
The Video Popup feature can detach videos from web pages and open them in
separate windows for more convenient watching. Videos may be detached by
clicking the video popup button which will appear when mouse hovers over
videos on supported sites. The video will be re-opened in the web page when
the video window is closed. To play other videos, just drag and drop the video
links into the video window.
    Supported Video Sites:
     International

    YouTube http://www.youtube.com
    Hulu http://www.hulu.com
    Yahoo! Video http://video.yahoo.com
    Shockwave.com http://www.shockwave.com
    Truveo http://www.truveo.com
    AOL Video On Demand http://video.aol.com
    Heavy.com http://www.heavy.com
    Atom http://www.atom.com

The Float Button is a classic feature of Maxthon. With a lot of user
feedback collected, the Float Button has been redesigned to provide more
convenient functionality. The Float Button is now context sensitive and
provides different functions when the mouse hovers over image, video, selected
text, and input boxes.
