Continental Prison Systems, Inc. (CPSI) Awarded Contract for Full Line-Up of EZ
Card & Kiosk Services At Mendocino County, California

FRESNO, Calif., Aug. 27, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Continental Prison Systems,
Inc. (Pink Sheets:CPSZ), dba EZ Card & Kiosk, was recently awarded a multi-year
contract for its full line-up of EZ Technology at the Mendocino County (Ukiah,
California) jail facility. Installation of the three kiosks and extensive system
training will commence the middle of September at this 300 bed facility.

The EZ Technology line-up, which will take the Mendocino County Jail "Cashless,"
includes an EZ Booking kiosk in the booking room, along with the EZ Text
Messaging service; EZ Bail kiosk in the holding area; and a third kiosk for EZ
Money Load in the main lobby of the jail, allowing friends and family to place
money into the inmate's trust account, using cash, credit card or debit card.
Both the EZ Money Load and EZ Bail services can also be accessed remotely via a
secure website or toll-free 800 number, which accepts credit and debit cards.

The EZ Release Card debit card completes the compliment of EZ Card & Kiosk
services at Mendocino County, which is issued to inmates being released instead
of the usual paper check. This allows the released inmate to immediately access
their money through an ATM or any Point-of-Sale location with this PIN-based
debit card.

"This will be our first full installation at a California county jail facility,"
states Gregg Hodge, VP of Sales, "which will be followed-up by three additional
county jail facilities over the next two months, here in the State of
California."

About Continental Prison Systems Inc.

Continental Prison Systems Inc. (CPSI), dba EZ Card & Kiosk, is the first kiosk,
internet payment and release debit card provider to successfully introduce a
full-suite solution for the "Cashless Jail." The company offers innovative
solutions to city and county jails designed to streamline and reduce many of the
operational and personnel costs required to properly manage a major segment of
detention facilities. When offering its proprietary software, teamed with
customized kiosk hardware and remote secure website technology, EZ Card & Kiosk
creates a system for jails for the booking process of collecting and depositing
cash holdings of a new inmate; bail by kiosk or remote website; money load by an
inmate's family and friends to make deposits into their trust account by kiosk
or remote website; and issuing the inmate's money at the time of their release
via the EZ Release Card, a PIN-based debit card. The kiosk is similar in
appearance to a "Stand-Alone" ATM with user-friendly interfaces. Our goal is to
help convert the jail into a "cashless" environment through the use of kiosks
for incoming cash and the issuance of a debit card to an inmate at the time of
his/her release. In doing so, the facility is relieved from repeatedly handling
cash, further reducing personnel time, errors and fraud.
