Cisco to Showcase Data Center Customer Deployments

SAN JOSE, CA, Aug 27 (MARKET WIRE) --
One month after Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) began shipping its evolutionary new
Unified Computing System and one quarter after the Nexus 1000V Virtual
Switch began shipping, Cisco will host a live Internet TV broadcast and
Q&A session to discuss customer traction and data center virtualization
deployments. Cisco will be joined by special guests: James McGibney, lead
data center manager, and Jason Morgan, senior network manager at Tutor
Perini Corporation, the very first customer to deploy the Cisco Unified
Computing System, and CEO Joel Schleicher and CTO Dave Hart of Presidio
Networked Solutions, one of the first Cisco UCS Advanced Technology
Partners.
-- Soni Jiandani, vice president of the Cisco Server Access and
Virtualization Group, will give an update on customer reception and market
traction with the Unified Computing System and the Nexus 1000V Virtual
Switch. Ms. Jiandani will discuss the variety of virtualization strategies
being planned and deployed by enterprise IT organizations today, and
explain how Cisco is supporting them.
-- James McGibney and Jason Morgan will discuss their company's data
center consolidation efforts, virtualization strategy, experiences with UCS
and Nexus to date, business benefits, environmental sustainability
benefits, and ROI. Tutor Perini Corporation is a leading U.S.-based civil
