OraSure Technologies Announces 2010 Annual Meeting Date

BETHLEHEM, Pa., Aug. 27, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OraSure Technologies, Inc.
(Nasdaq:OSUR) today announced that its 2010 Annual Meeting of Stockholders is
scheduled to be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Stockholder proposals must be
received no later than December 2, 2009, in order to be considered for inclusion
in the Company's Proxy Statement under relevant Securities and Exchange
Commission rules and no later than February 11, 2010, in order to be considered
at the Annual Meeting or to nominate a Director under OraSure Technologies'
Bylaws. A location for the meeting will be announced at a later date.
