LENEXA, KS, Aug 27 (MARKET WIRE) --
ICOP Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: ICOP), an industry-leading company engaged
in advancing digital surveillance technology solutions, today announced
that due to high interest in the ICOP products now offered for sale
through Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), Raytheon has purchased units to
install and demo on a national road show for its clients including,
military, law enforcement, transportation, homeland security and other
government agencies.
The road show currently includes stops in twelve cities and will feature a
product demonstration as part of the agenda. "With sales training now
complete for Raytheon's regional sales team, we are very excited to get
into the field and help them to hit the ground running," said Bob Bradley,
ICOP Director of National Sales and Marketing. "Since making the products
available through Raytheon in the last month, we have built some great
momentum and we are hopeful that the road show will accelerate orders
through this channel quickly."
In support of pending sales, the Raytheon tier one technical support team
is expected to complete their training in early September to equip them
with the ability to support those customers on a go forward basis.
ICOP and Raytheon signed an agreement July 15, 2009 to market mobile video
solutions to its public safety, transportation and military customers.
Available immediately, the solutions provide high-quality video and audio
to mitigate risks, reduce losses and improve safety and security.
Under the agreement, Raytheon will sell mobile video solutions including a
ruggedized, in-dash recording system ideal for public safety and a larger
solution designed with the flexibility and extended coverage required for
