OLNEY, Md., Aug. 27, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc.,
(Nasdaq:SASR) the parent company of Sandy Spring Bank, announced that its Board
of Directors has declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.12 per share for
the 3rd quarter of 2009. The dividend is payable on September 17, 2009 to
shareholders of record as of the close of business on September 7, 2009.
