Governor Rendell Says U.S., PA Flags to be Flown at Half-Staff in Honor of Sen. Kennedy HARRISBURG, Pa., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- At the direction of President Barack Obama, Governor Edward G. Rendell said today that all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags across the state should be flown at half-staff in honor of Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts, who passed away late Tuesday night. Flags should remain at half staff until sunset on Aug. 30, 2009.
