Eddie Bauer Holdings Appoints Brent Kugman Chief Restructuring Officer

CHICAGO, Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc. ("the Company")
has appointed Brent Kugman, President of Kugman Partners, Inc. ("Kugman") to
serve as Chief Restructuring Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company.
In this role, Kugman will provide a range of services relating to management
of the Company, primarily coordination of all activities necessary for the
expeditious and efficient resolution of the Debtors' bankruptcy cases.
Kugman's appointment was approved by the Honorable Mary F. Walrath in the U.S.
Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, who is presiding over the
Company's proceedings, on August 18, 2009.
