Bismarck Rally for Jobs and Affordable Energy Set for Aug. 27 at the National
Center of Energy Excellence at Bismarck State College



Energy Citizens, a nationwide alliance of organizations and individuals
committed to giving voice to Americans' concerns about the impact that climate
legislation passed by the U.S. House of Representatives would have on American
jobs, families and businesses, announced today a rally in Bismarck on Aug. 27.


The event entitled, "Rally for Jobs and Affordable Energy," will be one in a
series of rallies in 19 states during the congressional recess period. The
Bismarck rally will feature leading local voices from all walks of life.  The
Bismarck Energy Citizens Rally is hosted by 17 statewide trade associations
representing more than 4,000 employers and 50,000 citizens and employees.
