Dunkin' Donuts Launches 'Six for Three' Bagel Promotion along with Recycled
Bag Initiative in the New York Tri-State Area*
In-store promotional banners to be repurposed into reusable bags
CANTON, Mass., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Dunkin' Donuts, America's favorite
all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, today announced the launch
of a "Six for Three" bagel promotion. Beginning today, customers can purchase
six bagels of their choice for three dollars at all participating stores in
the New York Tri-State area.* The promotion coincides with a new program where
in-store banners will be repurposed into Dunkin' Donuts tote bags.
Dunkin' Donuts is encouraging franchisees to recycle their store banners to
help reduce excess waste in their communities. The initial set of reusable
bags will be created from the bagel promotion banners, currently in stores.
Dunkin' Donuts franchisees will be able to distribute the bags as a perk for
loyal customers or as an incentive for hard-working crewmembers.
"We are excited that the New York market is the first to launch this recycled
bag initiative," said Missy Maio, Manager of Field Marketing for Dunkin'
Donuts in the Central Atlantic Region. "This two-tiered program offers our
customers a great value option and marks a small, symbolic step in increasing
our commitment to the environment."
