MetLife to Hold Quarterly Earnings Conference Calls

2009 earnings conference calls on Friday, October 30, 2009 and Wednesday,
February 3, 2010, respectively. Both calls will follow MetLife`s issuance of its
third and fourth quarter earnings press releases on Thursday, October 29, 2009
and Tuesday, February 2, 2010, respectively.
