The International Association of Fire Fighters today sent a letter to Lehigh
Acres (Florida) Fire Chief Donald Adams and the Lehigh Acres Fire District
outlining its concern over layoffs and other cuts to the fire service and
offered to help the district apply for federal grants to fund fire fighter
salaries and restore public safety.
