Volterra Holds Analyst Day On September 10 in New York; Presents At Kaufman
Brothers Conference

FREMONT, Calif., Aug. 27, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Volterra Semiconductor
Corporation (Nasdaq:VLTR), a leading provider of high-performance analog and
mixed-signal power management semiconductors, will hold its 2009 Analyst Day on
September 10, 2009 in New York, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern time. Volterra
executives will present an overview of the company's growth strategy and goals.

In addition, Jeff Staszak, President and CEO, and Mike Burns, Vice President of
Finance and CFO, will present to investors at the Kaufman Brothers 12th Annual
Investor Conference in New York at 12:30 PM Eastern time on September 10, 2009.
