Indonesia's Inco 2.07 pct stake sold for estimated $92 mln

JAKARTA Aug 27 (Reuters) - PT International Nickel Indonesia (PT Inco) (INCO.JK) said on Thursday its majority shareholder, Brazil's Vale Inco Ltd (VALE5.SA), has sold a 2.07 percent stake, in a deal estimated to be worth $92 million.
"The sale was conducted through a book-building process," PT Inco said in a statement published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website www.idx.co.id.
The firm declined to comment, but Reuters data showed PT UBS Securities Indonesia handled the sale of 205,680,000 shares at 4,500 rupiah ($0.446), worth 925.56 billion rupiah, or $92 million.
After the share sale, Vale Inco owns 58.73 percent of the outstanding shares, Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. (5713.T) owns 20.09 percent, and the remaining 21.18 percent was held by public and other shareholders.
Shares in PT Inco ended down 7.29 percent on Thursday, while the broader market .JKSE was down 1.01 percent. ($1 = 10,095 rupiah) (Reporting by Tyagita Silka; Editing by Sara Webb)
