Arizona Technology Council Announces Individual Award Winners and Company Finalists for 2009 Governor`s Celebration of Innovation Awards

Former Intel CEO/Chairman of the Board, Dr. Craig Barrett, to Receive "OneNeck
IT Services Peoples Choice Lifetime Achievement Award" on November 19, 2009 at
the Orpheum Theatre
PHOENIX--(Business Wire)--
The Arizona Technology Council, in partnership with the Arizona Department of
Commerce, today announced Individual Award winners and Company Award finalists
for the 2009 Governor`s Celebration of Innovation (GCOI) awards. Winners will
receive Arizona`s highest honor for technology innovation on November 19, 2009,
at the Orpheum Theatre, 200 W. Washington St. in Phoenix from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

This year`s event features a theme of "Forging the Future," and will honor
former Intel CEO/Chairman of the Board Dr. Craig R. Barrett with the "OneNeck IT
Services Peoples Choice Lifetime Achievement Award" in recognition for his
efforts to educate others on the value technology can provide in raising social
and economic standards globally. 

Tickets for the prestigious awards gala include the pre-award show cocktail
reception, awards ceremony, strolling dinner and a VIP Backstage after-party can

The winners and finalists were selected by a committee independent of the
Council, and chaired by Brian Blaney, shareholder, Greenberg Traurig. Other
committee members included: Hugh Barnaby, associate professor, Arizona State
University; Dr. Carole R. Baskin, scientific program officer, Science Foundation
Arizona; Hunter Bennett, VP Managed Hosting Division, OneNeck IT Services;
Alaina G. Levine, president, Quantum Success Solutions; Barry W. Lutz, managing
director, Green Manning & Bunch, Ltd.; and Bob Witwer, director Aerospace
Advanced Technology, Honeywell International. Additional committee members asked
to remain anonymous.
