LOS ANGELES--(Business Wire)--
Scripped, the leading provider of Web-based screenwriting software and content
development services based in Los Angeles, today announced a new crowdsourced
scriptwriting contest which runs from September 1 through September 30th.
Scripped is seeking the next great SciFi Thriller and will be accepting
screenplays via a crowdsourcing collaboration using Scripped`s online
screenwriting application to source content.

Alex Albrecht of Diggnation is a judge for the contest and is expected to
produce the winning screenplay as a film, giving the writer or writing team
significant exposure.

"I`m so excited to be `crowdsourcing` a screenplay from Scripped to direct, and
totally excited to play a major part in an innovative concept," said Albrecht.

"We are thrilled that the crowdsourced model for finding quality screenplays is
beginning to take off," said Sunil Rajaraman, CEO, Scripped. "Alex`s talent and
reach speak for themselves and the fact that he is willing to consider turning
the winning script from one of our users into a production says volumes about
the future of user generated content in the film industry."

Details for the contest can be found at www.scripped.com and
