Porsche Reports August Sales

911 Sales Help Spur 9 Percent Gain
ATLANTA--(Business Wire)--
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche
sports cars and Cayenne SUVs in the United States, today announced August sales
in the U.S. of 1,526 units compared to the same period last year when it sold
1,404, up 9 percent.

Notable for the month were sales of the 911 model, which were 673 versus last
year`s figure of 351, an increase of 92 percent and the best sales results for
Porsche`s famous sports car in nearly a year.

So far in 2009, Porsche`s overall year-to-date sales are 12,729 versus last
year`s when they were 19,618, a decrease of 35 percent.

For the month, Porsche`s Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales were 567,
compared to 609 for the same period last year.
