RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Any estimated value of the Brazilian government's plan to capitalize state-run oil company Petrobras (PETR4.SA)(PBR.N) is "unfounded speculation," Jose Sergio Gabrielli, the company's chief executive, said on Tuesday.

Gabrielli was speaking to reporters the day after the Brazilian government unveiled its plans to boost its share of revenue from massive subsalt oil fields off the coast. (Reporting by Denise Luna; writing by Reese Ewing, editing by Maureen Bavdek)
