HOT POCKETS Brand to Sponsor Original Web Series on FunSpace
SAN FRANCISCO & HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Today, Slide Inc. (www.slide.com), the world`s leading provider of
community-driven entertainment, and Katalyst, a studio for social media
co-founded by Ashton Kutcher (www.twitter.com/aplusk) and Jason Goldberg,
announced the premiere of season two of KatalystHQ on FunSpace. KatalystHQ is
the first original Web series about life in the corporate headquarters of
Katalyst, a television, film and digital production company based in Hollywood.
Following a successful 12-episode first season that aired earlier this year, the
second season, launching today, will be sponsored by NESTLÉ HOT POCKETS® brand
and feature 16 weekly episodes.

KatalystHQ will be distributed on Facebook through Slide`s FunSpace, one of the
most popular content distribution platforms on Facebook. Through FunSpace, more
than 250 million Facebook users will be able to view, post to their profiles,
and share this original Web series with their friends. The collaboration between
Slide, Katalyst and the HOT POCKETS brand represents a unique and effective
approach through which advertisers can reach a highly engaged audience by
integrating original content, branding and distribution. Last season, the
KatalystHQ Web series on FunSpace resulted in:

* More than 8 million video posts of the KatalystHQ content by Facebook users
* Massive viral distribution of KatalystHQ, with the average video share per
episode going to more than 65 friends on Facebook

"We`re proud to partner with Slide to pioneer fun and engaging ways for
household brands like HOT POCKETS to reach their target audience," said Ashton
Kutcher, Katalyst co-founder. "Season one of KatalystHQ is proof that serialized
Web content can achieve the same level of engagement and reach as that of
traditional television. We expect this upcoming season to once again attract an
audience that is comparable to that of primetime programming on cable networks."

"It`s exciting to launch another 16 episodes of KatalystHQ on FunSpace after
witnessing the success of season one," said Max Levchin, CEO of Slide Inc.
"These types of immersive sponsorships allow big brands to harness the passion
of our users and direct that loyalty into engaging brand experiences."

KatalystHQ was the first original, professionally produced video series to be
distributed on Facebook through FunSpace. The series continues into its second
season as a "fly-on-the-wall reality" parody about working in a Hollywood-based
production studio. KatalystHQ follows the experiences of Katalyst`s staff as
they humorously navigate the excitement and perils of corporate life set against
a backdrop of the television and film industry.

The partnership between Slide and Katalyst offers the HOT POCKETS brand a deeply
integrated way to reach millions of viewers through an engaging entertainment
experience. The first sponsored episode of KatalystHQ Season Two premieres today
and is available at: http://www.FunSpace.com/KatalystHQ. In addition to
FunSpace, the weekly episodes will be syndicated across a variety of other
sites, including www.eatfreely.org.
