DUBLIN--(Business Wire)--
Research and Markets
(http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/d54b3a/u_s_ethanol_indus) has
announced the addition of the "U.S. Ethanol Industry Report 2009" report to
their offering.

The United States is one of the largest producers of biofuels in the world,
including the fuel ethanol. Over the last decade, high and volatile price of oil
and political pressure for energy security has fueled both public and private
investment in America's ethanol industry. The development of the ethanol
industry in the United States has helped in reducing agricultural surpluses,
increasing commodity prices, creating rural employment and improving air quality
by reducing GHG emissions. Unlike other parts of the world that rely on
sugar-related products for ethanol production, the United States utilizes corn
as its primary feedstock. Significant investments in recent years in the U.S.
ethanol sector have led to a rapid increase in production levels. In 2008, U.S.
ethanol industry produced more than 9.2 billion gallons of ethanol, growing by
41.5% over 6.5 billion gallons produced in 2007. Average production of ethanol
in the United States was 601,000 barrels per day (b/d) in 2008 compared to
average demand 630,000 b/d. Despite financial crisis of 2008-09 which led to
loss of investment in the sector and forced many ethanol plants to close, the
future outlook for the U.S. ethanol industry is bright, with production levels
growing consistently in upward direction to almost 13 billion gallons by 2015.

U.S. Ethanol Industry Report (2009) is an in-depth analysis of the sector and
the companies that are operating in it. The report focuses on recent
developments in the U.S. ethanol sector including trends in current production
and consumption, policy making, recovery from credit crisis, and future trends
among others. The report also focuses on the measures the U.S. Government is
taking to promote the use of ethanol - including offering of tax incentives,
funding for research and development, technological funding, etc. The report
discusses in detail the technology behind ethanol production and various
feedstocks that can be used for its production. Further, report provides
analysis on the competitive scenario in the sector and profiles of leading
ethanol producers in the United States. The report also includes recent trends
and statistics for the U.S. energy sector in general and issues that are
affecting the whole energy sector in the country. This report is updated at the
time its order to give the customer most up-to-date information available. The
dispatch time will be between 2-3 working days.
