Turk Telekom, Halkbank not eyeing offerings-sources
ANKARA, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Turkish firms Turk Telekom (TTKOM.IS), Petkim (PETKM.IS) and Halkbank (HALKB.IS) are not undergoing proceedings for a secondary public offering, Privatisation Adminstraion sources told Reuters on Thursday.
A Turkish newspaper had said the companies had begun working on secondary offerings as the economic outlook improved.
The report in Star newspaper caused their shares to fall. Turk Telekom fell 3.59 percent to 4.30 lira, and chemical manufacturer Petkim slumped 4.38 percent to 6.55 lira.
State lender Halkbank (HALKB.IS) declined 1.21 percent.
