Etisalat India, Tech Mahindra in $400 mln IT deal

NEW DELHI, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Etisalat's ETEL.AD India mobile telecoms unit will outsource its information technology applications to India's Tech Mahindra (TEML.BO) in a deal valued at $400 million spread over 10 years, the telecoms firm said on Monday.

Etisalat DB Telecom, which plans to start mobile services in 15 Indian telecoms zones later this year, said the outsourcing deal would include implementation of its end-to-end IT applications & infrastructure, system integration and managed services. (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy)
