FINDLAY, Ohio, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- JOBSolutions of Hancock, Wood and
Wyandot counties have become the first in Ohio to partner databases with Ohio
Means Jobs, a state-based organization for employers and jobseekers.

Hancock, Wood and Wyandot counties recently unveiled a new user-friendly
website which partners with Ohio Means Jobs database and automatically shares
job postings between the two.

"We are the first counties in the entire state to link our website with Ohio
Means Jobs," said Carolyn Smithers, Workforce Development Administrator of
Hancock County JOBSolutions. "This service offers our customers and area
employers access to job listings automatically from the entire region and all
at no cost."

The new local JOBSolutions website was designed with the employer and
jobseeker in mind. Both can easily register on the new website and have
direct access to job postings, resumes and more. The new site officially
launched on Sept. 8. It allows employers direct access to post job openings,
review resumes and candidates and get newly-posted resumes directly emailed to
them.

Jobseekers will find a wealth of information available to them. They can
search for jobs by specific points of interest, post their resume and get
email notification when new jobs are posted. The website also offers help
with resume and cover letter writing as well as providing a detailed listing
of support agencies and opportunities available for the jobseeker.

"The new website affords greater possibilities while job searching, which is
especially important in these economic times," said Mary DeWitt, Wood County
Workforce Development Administrator. "While the website is a great tool to
use, each county's One Stop Center is a great place to visit for additional
resources and training. Most people do not realize all the resources we have
to offer in-house."

Joshua Anderson, Wyandot County JOBSolutions Workforce Administrator, echoed
those comments.

"We talked a lot of strategy when we were in the development stages with this
new website. We wanted it to be easy to use and efficient in ways we had
never been before. We accomplished all these aspects with the website and
hopefully employers and jobseekers will benefit in ways they never thought
possible before."

The new website can be accessed at www.jobsolutions.net. Employees at all
three locations have received website training and are available to answer
additional questions. The One Stop Centers are located at: 7746 CR 140, Suite
B, Findlay; 1928 East Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green; and 120 East Johnson
Street, Upper Sandusky.
