NBC Sports and MobiTV Launch Live Notre Dame Football App

iPhone and iPod touch Users Can Now Enjoy Live Game Coverage and 'Cheer, Cheer
for Old Notre Dame' with the Notre Dame Central App




NEW YORK and EMERYVILLE, Calif., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- iPhone and iPod touch
users can now access live coverage of all eight University of Notre Dame home
football games with NBC Sports' all-new Notre Dame Central App, powered by
MobiTV.

Available now in the app store, Fighting Irish diehards and college football
fans nationwide can download the app to watch live NBC Sports coverage of each
home game via 3G and/or WiFi on their iPhone and iPod touch. (The first live
game available on the app was Saturday, September 5, a 35-0 Notre Dame victory
over the University of Nevada.)

In addition to live games, fans can watch video-on-demand highlights including
interviews, press conferences and classic full game recaps from the NBC Sports
Archives. The Notre Dame Central App also features a fully interactive
schedule offering live scoring, stats, news alerts and more. And, fans will
never miss a game with the Notre Dame Central Pregame Alerts that play the
fight song prior to each game.

    Oct. 3    vs. Washington (3:30 p.m. ET)
    Oct. 17   vs. USC (3:30 p.m. ET)
    Oct. 24   vs. Boston College (3:30 p.m. ET)
    Oct. 31   vs. Washington State *(7:30 p.m. ET)
    Nov. 7    vs. Navy (2:30 p.m. ET)
    Nov. 21   vs. Connecticut (2:30 p.m. ET)


*Game is being held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The Notre Dame Central App is now available for $6.99 from the App Store on
iPhone and iPod touch, or at www.itunes.com/appstore. 

Users can also download the app via text message by sending the word 'IRISH'
to 43888.
