Boys on the Side: Exclusive Gathering of Female Digital Executives Over Surf

Collaborate Together at the 6th Annual Digital Diva Conference in Southern

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Diva Connection, the digital
industry's first female-only professional association that offers networking
through both content-driven and physical activity events, is hosting their 6th
annual Digital Diva Summit. This Saturday in Santa Monica, California,
hundreds of female executives will come together to discuss breaking industry
issues and trends. But rather than congregate in a more traditional hotel
conference room, the group will take it outside over surfing and yoga.

"We all have our stories of trying to break into the boys club. I finally
decided to go and create my own version," says Marian Thomas, founder of
Digital Diva and a current Yahoo! executive. Thomas wanted to create a
community where women in digital media could gain industry insights from other
female colleagues in a supportive, non-intimidating environment. "This
community and particularly this day are dedicated to the incredibly talented
group of female digital marketers that make up the fabric of this growing
industry."

The event kicks off with an early morning breakfast followed by an hour and a
half of yoga on the beach. Surf instruction proceeds afterwards and will be
broken up into two sessions due to overwhelming popularity among the
attendees. New to this year's agenda will be two lunch guest speakers that
capture the spirit of new media innovation -- Romi Lassally, founder of
TruuConfessions.com and Theresa Gage Durham, President of Media Maven
Consulting.
