Globalstar Chooses Quake Global to Produce a New Generation of Satellite Data Modems

MILPITAS, Calif., Sept. 9, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Globalstar, Inc.
(Nasdaq:GSAT), the world's largest provider of mobile satellite voice and data
services to businesses, governments and consumers, today announced it has signed
an agreement with Quake Global, Inc., a leading manufacturer of satellite data
modems for tracking, monitoring, and controlling industrial assets. According to
the agreement Quake Global will design, manufacture and deliver a new line of
Globalstar's integrated multimode data modems as well as a next-generation
satellite data and voice module (SDVM).
