WASHINGTON--(Business Wire)--
Just in time for the opening game of the NFL season, SBNation today transformed
SBNation.com (http://www.sbnation.com/) into a new national site offering sports
fans news, commentary, and discussion with real-time updates on stories told
from the fan`s perspective.

SBNation is the premier sports blogging network, with more than 7.5 million
monthly unique visitors to its 212 separate blogs covering all major U.S.
professional sports teams, most major college sports programs, as well as Mixed
Martial Arts, tennis, and fantasy. The launch today of the new SBNation.com
updates the possibilities for how sports fans can stay current with all of the
developments on major sports stories about the teams and players they track.

SBNation.com will showcase live editors who bring the sports fans` perspective
to update in real time the day`s major stories, drawing news, commentary, and
discussion from the SBNation network, from 3rd party sites, and social media.
Each of the editors at SBNation.com will draw from the river of information
available on the Web - the latest news feeds, video, Tweets, and comments. They
will curate an ongoing "StoryStream," offering sports fans a single place to
visit to get access in real time to the best and most relevant developments on
the day`s biggest sports news. SBNation.com`s dynamic updating of developments
as they occur promises to be an addictive experience.

Editors hired for the launch of the new SBNation.com include:

Chris Mottram, who-hosted AOL`s sports podcast for three years before helping to
build FanHouse, which launched in 2005. Mottram later joined SportingNews.com
where he created, edited, and was lead writer for The Sporting Blog.

Spencer Hall, who created Everyday Should Be Saturday in 2005, which covers
college football -- more specifically his alma mater, Florida. EDSBS quickly
became the foremost NCAA football site on the web, while Spencer has emerged as
a leading voice for online sports content. Before joining SBNation, he wrote
daily for SportingNews.com.

Eamonn Brennan, who began writing for independent sports sites in 2005 while
enrolled in Indiana`s School of Journalism. Brennan was lead MLB writer for
FanHouse, before moving on to write for NBC Chicago, Mouthpiece Sports, later
becoming the editor and lead writer for Yahoo! Sports` official NCAA basketball
blog, The Dagger.

Investors in SBNation include Comcast Interactive Capital, Accel Partners, and
Allen & Company.

Sponsors for the launch of SBNation.com include Sprint and the NFL Network.
