Orchestr8 Releases Structured Data Web-Mining Technology

DENVER, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Orchestr8, LLC (www.alchemyapi.com), a
leading provider of semantic tagging and text-mining solutions, today
announced a significant upgrade to its AlchemyAPI content analysis online
service. This update includes "Visual Constraints" -- a new text-mining
technology for extracting structured data from any web page.

AlchemyAPI is a web-based service that enriches a publisher's content through
automated tagging, categorization, semantic analysis, and text-mining.
Available as both a free online API and commercial subscription service,
AlchemyAPI is used by online publishers, news aggregators, and contextual
advertising firms to understand and monetize online content.

Visual Constraints:

AlchemyAPI now employs "visual constraints" -- a new content-mining technology
that enables extraction of structured data (product information, pricing,
descriptions, etc.) from any web page. Visual constraints enable content
extraction using simple "natural language" queries, such as "all links after
product details."

Entity SubTypes:

AlchemyAPI's sophisticated named entity extraction capability has been
expanded to support Entity SubType resolution. This capability generates
concept ontology mappings for Persons, Organizations, Locations, and other
entities detected within text. "By mapping named entities into an ontology,
AlchemyAPI can do things such as identifying persons as politicians, athletes,
or other public figures," Turner added.
