RPT-Nikkei rises 0.8 pct, tracks Wall St higher

TOKYO, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei stock average edged higher on Thursday, tracking an advance on Wall Street, as banking shares such as Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (8306.T) rebounded following a recent slide.
The Nikkei rose 86.13 points to 10,398.27 .N225.
The broader Topix index rose 1 percent to 948.74 .TOPX. (Reporting by Masayuki Kitano)
