BRIEF-Turk Telekom-in talks with banks on loan

ISTANBUL, Sept 10 | Thu Sep 10, 2009 6:23am EDT

ISTANBUL, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Turkish fixed-line operator Turk Telekom (TTKOM.IS), which also owns mobile unit Avea, said in statement on Thursday:

* in talks with banks on a loan to fund the restructuring of Avea.
