White House: unemployment to peak end '09, early 2010

WASHINGTON, Sept 10 (Reuters) - The White House expects U.S. unemployment to peak at about 10 percent by the end of 2009 or early 2010, top economic adviser Christina Romer told reporters on a conference call on Thursday.
