The Greatest Minds in Technology Will Converge and Elaborate on the Internet`s
New Rules of Engagement at the Kynetx Impact Conference November 16-18, 2009
LAS VEGAS--(Business Wire)--
The rules of Web identity are evolving again. Dr. Phil Windley, Founder and CTO
of Kynetx, Inc., outlined principles for the next era of Internet usage in his
keynote address at the Digital ID World Conference in Las Vegas today.

Whereas the first phases of Internet use were about "going" and "getting," the
new functions are about "doing" and "knowing," Windley maintains. He holds that
the new Web metaphor is about "purpose" (for example, finding a book to read)
and is no longer about destination. In this new arena, Windley describes a world
where websites are intertwined in connections that aren`t defined by URLs, but
by relationships that form along functional lines.

Windley described the rules for the "Purpose-Based" Web as follows:

1
Purpose is more important than Location.
      2
Freedom is more important than Control.
      3
Context is more important than Content.
      4
Relationships are more important than Transactions.
      5
Loyalty is more important than “Time on site.”
      6
Individuals are more important than Demographic.

Windley noted that these principles provide a foundation for the new Web
paradigm that will be examined in much more depth in the upcoming Kynetx Impact
event.
