Taiwan Mobile to pay $1 bln for Carlyle's TV business
TAIPEI, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Taiwan Mobile (3045.TW) plans to
pay T$32.8 billion ($1 billion) to acquire Carlyle Group's
[CYL.UL] Taiwanese cable TV business, the mobile carrier said in
a statement on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, sources told Reuters that the enterprise value of the Taiwan cable company Kbro, which includes market value and debt, was about $1.8 billion. [ID:nTP280376] (Reporting by Argin Chang and Faith Hung; Editing by Chris Lewis)
