Open Call for Cooking Video Contestants with Emphasis on Regional Cuisine -
Cook, Shoot It and Compete!

MARIN COUNTY, Calif., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- CookingTipsTV.com has launched
a Regional Cooking Contest for both culinary professionals and home cooks
(foodies). With the importance of using sustainable foods not only for our
health, but also the environment, this contest is encouraging the use of
regional products and recipes.

The regional prizes are for the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest,
Northwest, California, Hawaii and Alaska in the US. It's all about regional
products and educating people.

Internationally, if your country will allow contests, you're in.

"My focus is that the public will have a wider understanding about regional
cuisine and how to use local ingredients in unique recipes," says Linda
Naughton, founder of CookingTipsTV.com. "This contest will be judged not only
by the creativity of the chef, but how the ingredients are featured."

Grand Prize is Enclume's most popular pot rack model for over three decades.
This classic oval design was modeled after the first pot racks created for the
King of France by his chefs three centuries ago.

The contest ends Dec. 1, 2009, 11:59 pm PST. Winners will be chosen by
CookingTipsTV.com judges and the voting public, which is encouraged to vote
for their favorite video. Please see http://www.cookingtipstv.com for complete
contest rules. Culinary professionals and foodies will be judged separately.

John Boos Cutting Boards, Chef's Design French Roaster, Dansk Peppermills,
Xtreme cookware, Kyocera Knives, Minden Stove Top Grill, and Le Creuset French
Oven are some of the regional prizes to be awarded.

About: CookingTipsTV.com began as a video portal of international cooking
schools videoed during a worldwide adventure. An e-book titled Cooking Tips
From Around the World, A Culinary Travel Adventure, will be released in
October. Understanding the importance of sustainable foods, the site is where
international chefs and foodies can upload their videos for viewers to rate
and comment.
