SAIC in Pentagon supply deal worth up to $1.1 billion

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Science Applications International Corp (SAI.N) has won a U.S. Defense Logistics Agency contract valued at up to $1.1 billion for supplies, the Defense Department said Thursday.

The goods will go to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies, the Pentagon's daily contract digest said.

It said this was the exercise of a fifth option year period, with work to be completed September 10, 2010.
